Buca - fab resort
We have been with Neilson for many years and travelled to Buca for the first time and loved the resort. Beautiful food the staff were fantastic. Gorgeous pool and room. Great having Messini next door to share activities like tennis.
Would go back.

Why do Neilsons continue to use Enter Air - what a joke
Have been on many Neilson active holidays - 8 plus to be precise but enough is enough - last June 2022 when we booked a premium holiday we ended up having a 3.5 hours flight delay with the awful airline called Enter Air that Neilson are using to fly their premium guests from LGW to Preveza, Greece - not impressed and have made many communications with Neilsons and the airline since the awful experience - when you book a package holiday you expect your tour operator to sort the problems out - not Neilsons - wash their hands of assisting their guests after the event when they have had your money - I do not call a £3,500 to be cheap and you get no assistance with trying to claim compensation back. Enter Air are a shambles of an airline - check them out on trip advisor ! It is now January 30 and we are still trying to get back the rightful compensation due from this airline - 800 euros in total but find that Neilsons continue to use this airline yet again this year - I know for a fact that 167 passengers on my flight last year were appalled at the lack of service of this airline - not only did we get delayed by over 3.5 hours no offer of food and drink vouchers were offered at LGW and when we did get to the Neilsons resort at 2:30 in the morning instead of 9.30 the previous day, Neilsons had the cheek to charge us for drink and food which we not able to get on our flight due to lack of food and drink again available by Enter Air - would be really interested to hear from others that have had the same experience with this airline and whether they have got compensation paid back.
Very disappointed Neilsons - shame on you for not listening to guest complaints and choosing another airline - there are other airlines that fly to this airport - sort out this Neilsons or you will not have anyone travelling to this lovely resort.
Will be looking at other companies with activities and see how they treat their guests/customers

The team at the booking office made booking and planning easy and with heading back to the same resort we booked and enjoyed so much last year we are once againing looking forward to the full Neilson experience.
Easy booking process
Easy booking process. It would have been good to have seen a map/plan showing where the different types of rooms are. We guess that Court Room is overlooking the tennis courts and the Pool view rooms are directly in front of the pool. Uncertain of where the Club Rooms are.
Fun, food and frolics with Neilson
Our family had a fantastic time at the Neilson Retreat at Sivota, Greece. From our arrival at Gatwick, all the way through to our departure at Preveza Airport, we were looked after by the Neilson team.
We'd never been on such a holiday before - we tend to plan our own independent holidays - but we'll be going back to Neilson, as they have something for every member of the family, whether you're looking to relax, or go crazy with so many crazy activities which we didn't even have enough time to explore fully!
And the food was something else - a huge range of local and international food every day, always something new to look forward to. A constant battle not to overeat - but I guess that's why they offer so many activities...!

Summer in Messini
Had a great Summer holiday to Messini Beachclub last August, the 4th time we've been and as ever the girls (14 & 15) loved the kids club, more of a teen club now and they made some great friends.
The resort and staff were amazing as always, we'll definitely be back on a Neilson Holiday this summer. x

Great chalet and hospitality
Great chalet and hospitality. We stayed at the Chalet Edelweiss for our recent ski trip and had an awesome time. The location of the chalet was excellent as was the hospitality of the staff.
The food at meal times was great and room was cleaned daily.

Great Christmas ski holiday!
We spent a fantastic week over Christmas in Val d’Isere at Neilsons La Toviere hotel. We were met at Gatwick airport by Neilsons reps who were all really friendly & again in Grenoble reps were there as soon as we came through passport control.
Patrick the rep who was based in our hotel could not do enough for all of the guests & was constantly available. The hotel was lovely, felt like a large chalet with the added bonus of a lovely spa. We had a family room which was a great size for 4 of us & a beautiful view over the mountain.
The staff were all super friendly, meals were huge & really tasty.
This was our first experience of a package ski holiday & one we’d definitely repeat!

Fantastic holiday with Neilson's
This was our second holiday this year with Neilson. Our first was in Sardinia, then just returned from an amazing week in Croatia. Prior to this year we had never been on a package holiday of any description, always preferring to be independent and do our own thing. Neilsons were recommended to us by friends with similar active outdoor interests. Our whole experience was like an epiphany to us. Ok, so we had the usual delayed flights. But the fantastic Neilsons team, activities and kit on offer, and kids clubs certainly made up for a bit of disruption. We will definitely be back for more next year

No holiday is perfect. there are always niggles but despite a depayed flight (not Neilson's fault ) we had a fantastic time. Staff were excellent and we found it to be good value for the number of activities and and quality of food

Holiday and flights were fine but on…
Holiday and flights were fine but on arrival at Gatwick had to wait at least an hour for Enter Air to put luggage on the carousel. Causing my daughter to miss her train north and generally creating a disappointing ending to the family holiday. Very disrespectful of customers. Will not be booking again.

Never again!
Flight time moved so we miss half a day in resort on the way out & airline changed to Easyjet on the way back! Also had to do all the leg work to sort out our Easyjet flight (API etc.) then was told I had to pay extra to guarantee I will sit with my family in the aircaft! Absolutely unbelievable - this is supposed to be a premium holiday experience not bargain basement. Terrible customer service as they just don't reply to e-mails & their telephone staff are completely uninterested.

Great staff at resort but awful travel…
Great staff at resort but Neilson changed the flight times that we had originally committed to. Getting home at 0430hrs in the morning with two 4 year olds is no fun.
If customers book a holiday with specific flight times they do it for a good reason. I won't be using Neilsons again!

Poor customer satisfaction
As mentioned below we booked a holiday with Neilsons (instead of other companies) due to the child friendly flight times! Sadly they have changed the flights by 10 hours to now be travelling at midnight. Not ideal with a 1 and 3 year old! No option of refund or day change. Poor customer service and barely an apology. I won't be booking with them again. Ruined / made a holiday stressful before it's even begun
